WorldView 4, formerly known as GeoEye 2, is a commercial high-rsolution earth observation satellite operated by DigitalGlobe. WorldView-4 provides 31 cm panchromatic resolution, and 1.24 m multispectral resolution.
The spacecraft's telescope is called the GeoEye Imaging System-2, designed and built by ITT Corporation. The telescope mirror is 1.1 m in diameter. It provides panchromatic images at a highest resolution of 0.31 meters per pixel (12.2 in/px), and multispectral images at 1.24 meters per pixel (48.8 in/px). Multispectral imagery will be available in red, green, blue and near-infrared channels.
